BACKGROUND
The Laredo Area Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 Area of Interest Grant Program. Grants of $5,000 are available to eligible nonprofit organizations for projects in the areas of arts, education, environment, health, and social services.
Keep Laredo Beautiful has prepared a grant application under the Environment category for the "Rooted in Laredo" Community Tree Planting and Stewardship Program. Grant funds, if awarded, will be used to purchase reusable shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gloves, safety equipment, watering supplies, and related materials for Arbor Day, Earth Day, park beautification, and future tree-planting activities. No local match is required.
