BACKGROUND
The Airport currently owns all facilities, operational equipment and revenue control system currently used. The Airport considers the parking operation as an important component of the overall airport operation. The airport offers both short-term and long-term parking options. The short-term parking lot has three entry points and two exits with a total of 414 parking spaces, while the long-term (economy) parking lot has one entry and one exit with a total of 474 parking spaces.
The Airport solicited Requests for Proposals through the Cit-E-Bid and Republic Parking System, LLC came out as the top score.
After negotiations, the Airport is proposing to enter into a three year contract, with two options to renew with Republic Parking System, LLC. Republic currently serves 50 airports in the United States and Canada and have a vast experience in Airport Landside operations.
