PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On July 21, 2025, City Council awarded a professional services contract to X Collective Architecture, LLC, Laredo, Texas, in the amount not to exceed $228,200.00 for FY24-ENG-89 Animal Care Services - New Veterinary Hospital and Master Planning Project for architectural and engineering services.
BACKGROUND
Scope of work includes 3,031 S.F. single story new facility Type II - B construction for the City of Laredo. Includes Reception Area, Office, Pharmacy, X-Ray, Surgery, Holding Areas, Toilet Rooms, and Storage. Includes MEP, Structural, Civil and Landscape as indicated in the contract documents.
Construction contract time for the project is Two Hundred and Ten (210) Days.
A total of seven (7) bids were received at City Secretary’s office on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 4:00P.M. which were publicly opened, read and taken advertisement on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
