BACKGROUND

Texas Local Government Code Section 43.0673 requires a public hearing before the City Council.  The petition for annexation was presented before the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 7, 2023 and December 21, 2023 for a recommendation.  After the public hearing, the petition shall proceed to City Council for introduction of the ordinance on March 4, 2024.

Tract 5 is as follows:

Voluntary Annexation:
Tract 5 - 13.15 acres, more or less, located south of State Highway 359 and east of Las Missiones Boulevard.

Petitioner: Jesse J. Martinez - J&H Rentals, LLC.

 

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION

The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposed annexation and zoning designation on December 7, 2023 and December 21, 2023, and recommended approval of the annexation and initial zoning of B-4 (Highway Commercial District) and B-3 (Community Business District).
