BACKGROUND
The City went out on formal bid solicitations through Cit-E-Bid for awarding a contract to provide laboratory clinical services not performed in house or sent to specific state laboratories, lowest bidder was Quest Diagnostics, Dallas, Texas. The term of this contract was for three (3) years with one (1) additional three (3) year period, this is the last extension period. Funding is available in the City of Laredo Public Health Department and Employee Health and Wellness Funds. This contract shall be the responsibility of and administered by the vendor and the City of Laredo Public Health Department and Employee Health and Wellness.
