A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to accept and enter into a continuation contract from the Women’s Health and Family Planning Association of Texas (WHFPT) d.b.a. Every Body Texas, for the WHFPT Title X QIA Part B Grant in the amount of $35,000.00, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department, for the term April 01, 2026 through March 31, 2027. Funds will be accounted for in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund - Title X QIA Part B Grant.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department wishes to apply for this funding opportunity by Every Body Texas to be considered for funding through the Quality Access and Improvement (QIA) Part B Fund, Title X Family Planning. Through this award, Laredo Public Health Department is able to provide a variety of family planning methods and implement quality improvement strategies.
