A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the submission of a grant application in the amount of $25,000.00 to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for the 2027 Community Outdoor Outreach Program (CO-OP). If awarded, the grant will provide funding for Keep Laredo Beautiful's Laredo Outdoor Conservation Challenge. The City will not be required to match funds.

BACKGROUND
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Community Outdoor Outreach Program (CO-OP) provides funding for programs that engage underrepresented populations in outdoor recreation, conservation, and environmental education activities.
Keep Laredo Beautiful is seeking $25,000.00 to implement the Laredo Outdoor Conservation Challenge, a year-long program encouraging youth, families, and community members to participate in outdoor conservation, environmental education, volunteerism, and stewardship activities through existing Keep Laredo Beautiful programs and events. No local match is required.
