BACKGROUND
On July 22, 2024, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 2024-O-126 ordering and proclaiming a General City Election to be held on November 5, 2024; for: the election of city officials for districts IV, V, VII, and VIII, designating polling places, providing for publication, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into contract with Webb County Elections Office / Administrator in the amount of $116,217.07 for the purpose of conducting a joint election.
