Authorizing the City Manager to ratify a Lease Agreement between the City of Laredo and Concord Hills Community Association for 25 years for a 2.95-acre tract of land for use by the public. It will be maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. Funding for park maintenance is available in the General Fund-Parks Department.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On July 15, 2013, a Resolution was proposed to enter into a Joint Use Agreement with Concord Hills Subdivision for a term of 20 years to service residents by providing an area for recreation in which the city will contribute $150,000 from the 2012 Environmental CO to provide outdoor amenities.
BACKGROUND
This agreement will allow for future connectivity and a linear park plan from existing parkland to the North and South of Concord Hills.
