RMA is preparing a SS4A Implementation Grant Application for $9,787,056.00. To deliver the $33M Vision Zero Capital Plan, the City will be responsible for a contribution of $546,764.00, providing an investment of 4.5% for the $9.7M application amount for the Roadway Safety Improvements across the City of Laredo. This contribution is subject to future funding availability. The RMA would be the grant recipient, and would front the payments, to be reimbursed by FHWA, the City, and TxDOT. Both the City and TxDOT’s portions of the local match would need to be available for reimbursement to the RMA within Fiscal Years 2028-2031. There is no financial impact at this time.
